WELCOME TO SYNERGY CORNERHOUSE
WHERE WILD NATURE MEETS ABSOLUTE TRANQUILITY
Nestled in the heart of the achingly beautiful village of McGregor, and just a few minutes’ walk from everything, lies Synergy Cornerhouse, our lovingly restored historic homestead built in 1872. Despite its location, waking up at Synergy Cornerhouse feels more like daybreak on a farm than in a village. The home offers a serene sanctuary, the all-encompassing quiet broken only by the early morning birdsong and the whinnying of horses. The interior is effortlessly charming, styled unpretentiously with plush couches, beautiful textiles, a few traditional pieces and original art all weaving their own magic through the home. The bedrooms are all fitted with custom made wooden furniture, luxurious crisp white Granny Goose linen, and soft cascading mosquito nets. There are 2 bathrooms and an additional outside shower in a separate bathhouse. The kitchen is the heart of the home, in its typical farmhouse style with wooden floors, long dining table and large airy doorways. It comes equipped with a Eurogas stove, a Kitchen Aid coffee machine and a full complement of Le Creusset pots and pans. The lounge has a cosy fireplace for those wintery evenings. The rambling garden is home to a vineyard of Shiraz vines, an olive grove, a fruit orchard, a variety of fynbos and a vegetable garden. There is also a central lawned area with its own unique “karoo jacuzzi” for cooling off on hot summer days. After a day of beautiful mountain walks, or languidly spent just chilling, the extensive verandas are the perfect spot for a lingering early dinner or a few glasses of wine enjoyed beneath the fading light.
